Tailor Made Ducati XDiavel V4 finished in Lamborghini Viola Bast

The 101.2 is the first Ducati XDiavel V4 project by KikasDesign, built on one of the very first customer bikes delivered in the United States. The bike is ordered before the official launch, with the goal of securing one of the earliest U.S.-delivered examples and starting the project immediately.

The color is Lamborghini Viola Bast, an original tri-coat Lamborghini finish chosen to give the XDiavel a bold and unique identity while still keeping a strong Italian connection. Its heavy metallic effect changes dramatically with the light, shifting from a deep and refined purple to a much brighter and more aggressive tone. Because the paint already takes full attention, the rest of the design stays clean and controlled.

The bike uses a custom suspension setup developed specifically for the 101.2. A custom Öhlins rear shock and customized front fork internals make it possible to achieve the low stance while keeping the suspension fully usable. The goal is not simply to lower the bike for appearance, but to retain proper suspension function and rideability at the new height.

To give the XDiavel a wider and more distinctive presence, a custom wing kit is designed and produced in-house. Carbon fiber also plays a major role throughout the project. The original XDiavel V4 comes with no carbon components, so several pieces are created completely from scratch. Molds are made in-house for the side-panel inserts and other parts that are not available anywhere else. In total, the bike features 18 gloss carbon components, including 10 pieces developed specifically for the 101.2.

The wheels are the D+ GT3 forged design, finished in Arctic White. At the rear, the bike features the world’s first carbon Aerodisc developed for the GT3 wheel, giving the 101.2 an even more distinctive silhouette.

A full titanium Akrapovič exhaust adds performance, sound and character. Smaller AEM Factory details, including the lightweight rear sprocket kit, fuel cap and other carefully selected components, add depth to the build without making it feel overdone.

The seat is tailor-made specifically for this bike in black Alcantara with black stitching. Its design stays intentionally simple so it does not compete with the paint, carbon and overall shape of the bike.

The 101 logo on the side pays homage to the original green 101 bike built in Estonia. The number is personal and can be interpreted in several ways: 101 percent, one of one, or even the binary language of ones and zeros. On the 101.2, it connects the new build to where the story began.

The 101.2 is not a numbered edition, and it is not one of a hundred. It is a true one-off, with parts designed, developed and produced specifically for this bike, including components that exist nowhere else in the world. Its identity does not come from simply replacing a few parts. It comes from the design, engineering and craftsmanship behind the entire build. There is only one 101.2.
