Ducati Monster S2R - Gucci Cafe Racer
Rare Cafe Racer Build by KikasDesign
First Cafe Build
Oh you have cool shoes, lets build a theme around them
This project is far from our usual KikasDesign style — but when a close friend requested something unique and bold, we couldn’t resist. Project is built on the foundation of an old Ducati Monster S2R. Our mission was to reimagine the bike with a high-fashion café racer twist. Inspired by none other than world famous Gucci.
The entire bike was stripped down, modified, and rebuilt with a completely new visual language. The rear end was shortened and cleaned up to create a sleek silhouette, finished off with a tailor-made seat covered in Gucci-style fabric and matching custom grips. The exhaust system was completely reworked into a one-off 2-to-1 setup that runs under the engine.
We also redesigned the cockpit area with a minimal café racer spirit: the handlebar area was cleared of unnecessary components. Unique headlight cover and front fender were custom-built for this project.
Paintwork plays a major role in the final look. The body was finished in deep metallic dark green with subtle candy tones. The engine and frame were coated in satin black for a stealthy foundation, while the wheels, forks, and other accents received a soft satin gold finish — perfectly balancing the luxury theme.
As the final cherry on top, we created a bespoke ‘Ducati’ logo that is inspired by the vintage Gucci wordmark.
This bike was also featured in Bike EXIF’s “Bikes of the Week” — a nod of recognition from one of the top custom motorcycle platforms.
